If you believe in God, you are told to study the Scriptures.. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.. And also to”hear” the Scriptures Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. 

I do read the Bible, and hear the word.. so when Scripture is weaved into song, it is quite pleasant to the ears..

A few years ago I found the website of a gifted musician named Robert Evans. I love music, and scriptures, so what could be better than scripture songs? Robert is unique in the way he offers his music to the public. All of his work is free to download and distribute to friends and family. I listened to all the Psalms, Hymns, and spiritual songs, and chose the ones I liked best to download. If you like acoustic guitar and soft listening.. you will be happy with the selections offered. 

One of my faves is listed under Scripture songs #5 “Let All The Earth Keep Silence”.. not only is this music great for worship, but you can listen while cleaning.. it makes doing dishes enjoyable 🙂
