Wedding Bells And Blessings!

that he

Hi everyone! I am here to share the good news from India and hope you enjoy the heartfelt thanks to those who have given to the cause!

First I will share the good news of Harshitha.Harshitha

Harshitha came to live with Praveen and his family as a young girl, and they raised her well. Praveen has shared the news of her wedding celebration in their home. Children grow so quickly, it seems like just yesterday she was graduating.

Praveen also shared the news of the children and widows. Praveen and his family attempt to give monthly support to the widows in their church who struggle with daily needs. Praveen was also happy that he could provide the children with toothbrushes and paste. It brings great joy to help others in need and to see a child you have raised start a new life of independence. This is one more child rescued from the streets of India, and this is a great blessing.

Giving joy to a child this Christmas!

Christmas 6

Giving joy to a child this Christmas!

You can help bring joy to a child this Christmas! Each year Praveen and his family gather with over 50 children, along with the elderly and widows. They share with those who would not otherwise have a Christmas meal, or gift.. This is a wonderful time of joy and laughter, how I wish I could be there in person. I have been blessed to read the stories and see the smiles captured by camera. The children in the home and others who attend Sunday school, sing Christmas carols. It is a day of rejoicing, and performing the skits they have practiced. They gather for Christmas dinner, that is prepared by helping hands within the church. After dinner Praveen and his family give gifts to the children, and clothing to the elderly and widows. Through the festivities, they always give thanks and praise to the One they are celebrating, who is Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. ~Matthew 1:18-25~

If you would like to be part of bringing joy to these children this Christmas, please donate. If you have no pennies to spare, please share the need anywhere you can. 🙂

It is my hope to send gifts and financial aid to the children’s home, since giving feels better than receiving!

Water Project Update!

You can be a part of providing clean water !

As some may know, I have been attempting to provide an RO system to the orphanage in India..

Praveen has spoken to a water treatment specialist in their city, explaining their situation.  I have heard good news of their findings, the RO system that will remove total dissolved salts and contaminants, can be installed at the bore well.

NewThis home of love is a busy place, they have children who live with them, and they also aid neighborhood widows and their children.

They hold Sunday school classes, and help children with their schooling. When funds allow they help the less fortunate in their church community.

Why is this project on my heart? I believe it will be of benefit to the home, and others who gather. They will save on the cost of purchasing bottled water for drinking.

The system will remove much of the limescale, so Praveen’s wife and mother will save on scrubbing 🙂

The cost of this project: large water filters are between 8,000 and 10,000 rupees.

Because an RO system wastes a good amount of water, they will be saving the rejected water for bathing and cleaning.  A container will be needed to store the filtered water at a cost of 3,000 rupees. After  Installation charges, the total projected cost given is 15,000 rupees. In U.S. currency this totals $233.76

I am thankful for the dear lady who has donated to this project, and I am half way there!

I understand with finances, not all can give.. but please share this project with others.

Sharing is giving 🙂
