#Justice For Trevor Update

https://gofund.me/a9ac07bb

On behalf of Trevor’s family, we thank those who contributed to the memorial fund.
Today, January 25th would have been Trevor’s birthday, and it has been a difficult journey through loss.. As we sat through the trial against the accused, we knew there would not be a second degree murder charge. Past violent acts of the accused were not allowed as evidence.
In his recent sentencing, Brandon McRae received 7 years to serve for voluntary manslaughter.
This does not feel like justice for all the pain and suffering Trevor went through before his life tragically ended, three days after his birthday. We hope that laws will change and violent offenders will be held instead of being released on bail to further harm others.
Thank you all.

I hope you had a blessed Easter, Mary. It can be difficult to celebrate a holiday — even a holy day like Easter — while we are still in mourning over the loss of a loved one. We know because of Christ’s death and Resurrection that there will come a day when death is no more. Meanwhile, I pray that God will comfort you and your family. <3 ❤ ❤
